Gunman robs Mt. Orab Marathon, flees with cash

Police are seeking a man they say robbed a Mt. Orab Marathon gas station at gunpoint on Saturday morning, May 21.

According to Mt. Orab Police Chief Bryan Mount, a man entered the gas station located at 570 N. High Street just before 1:26 a.m., pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded cash.

The armed robber left the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash and four cigarettes, Mount said.

The robber was described as a white male wearing a multicolored beanie over his face, cut to leave only his eyes uncovered, a black jacket with a white shirt underneath, pajama pants with a dark plaid design, black gloves and black tennis shoes.
