The Brown County grand jury handed indictments Thursday, Dec 17 against four individuals suspected of breaking into the Southwest Regional Medical Center in Georgetown.
In November, a grainy set of photos which appeared to depict a man and woman trespassing into the hospital were released by Georgetown Police Department. Police had asked for the public’s help in identifying the individuals from the video surveillance footage.
Melissa Ray Cook, Adam W. Hart Jr., Gilbert Wayne Preston Jr., and Ryan Allen Waits were each indicted on one count of fifth-degree felony breaking & entering. The indictments allege they broke into the Southwest Regional Medical Center to commit theft.
According to court records, the four are being summoned to appear in court Feb 03, 2016.
Southwest Regional Medical Center has been closed since Sept 25, 2014.
