A juvenile is under arrest after allegedly leading police on a high-speed pursuit through southern Brown & Clermont counties shortly after midnight on Wednesday, Jan. 6.
According to police, the chase began in Aberdeen in Brown County, and ended when the juvenile crashed his vehicle into a culvert in Clermont County near Moscow. The juvenile, age 17, allegedly drove at speeds in excess of 80 MPH during the pursuit.
The juvenile suspect is not being named due to his age. He was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment before he will be sent to juvenile detention. Charges are still pending.
Aberdeen Police, Clermont County Sheriff’s, Georgetown Police, New Richmond Police, Ripley Police and Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted in the chase.
