A drug investigation at the Green Crest Motel in Mt. Orab culminated in four arrests and a significant amount of methamphetamine being seized by police on Saturday evening, Feb. 20.
Mt. Orab Police seized approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine, oxycodone (Percocet), items used in drug sales, multiple firearms and US currency during a search of Room 6 and two vehicles in the parking lot at Green Crest Motel.
Daniel Ray Davis, Deanna Sue Fletcher, Dezaraya Sunshine Fletcher and Donnie Fletcher each have been charged with possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs, second degree felonies.
Additionally, Donnie Fletcher has been charged with having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony.
Investigators questioned the suspects and learned the four would travel to Dayton “every two or three days” to purchase 28 grams of crystal methamphetamine for resale in Brown County, according to court documents filed Feb. 22.
Under questioning, Donnie Fletcher also allegedly admitted he kept a firearm on him due to the risks associated with drug trafficking.
Donnie Fletcher had allegedly pulled a gun on a confidential source in a separate drug investigation that began in August 2015 and is still ongoing, according to court records.
Bond was set at $25,000 cash, surety or property for the Fletcher suspects. Bond was set at $50,000 cash, surety or property for Daniel Davis. All four suspects remain in custody.
