BCSO investigate Mt. Orab stabbing

Detectives at the Brown County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a suspected physical altercation that supposedly ended with a stabbing on Friday, March 18 near Mt. Orab.

According to detectives, Jessy Meece was treated at Mt. Orab Mercy Hospital for a single stab wound from an incident at a Hillcrest Road address in Green Township.

Meece is alleged to have been stabbed with a knife by Anita Lynch, who was taken into custody and charged with second-degree felony assault. Lynch is currently free on $50,000 bond.

Lynch allegedly received minor injuries in the incident. She declined medical assistance.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges could be pending, detectives said.
