A Brown County grand jury indicted a man Friday who has been accused of sexual abuse of two children spanning more than a decade.

William Wallace Jr., age 42 of Gauche Rd, Fayetteville, was indicted Friday, March 25 in Brown County Common Pleas Court on two counts of first-degree felony rape, two counts of importuning and gross sexual imposition, both third-degree felonies, and one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, also a third-degree felony.

According to the indictment, Wallace is accused of sexually abusing the first child since the age of four. That child is now 14.

The alleged sex abuse against the second child, who is now 13, is believed to have began at age eleven.

Wallace allegedly to some degree admitted the accusations to his spouse, according to court records.

Wallace was arrested Monday, March 28 and freed March 31 on $250,000 bond with a 10% option. A pre-trial hearing was set for April 7.

  1. Is there a picture of the disgusting fugitive?
Why is he not in jail if he was indicted on friday?
How has he not been in police custody this whole time?
Good grief you just let a man walk the street after admitting to something so awfu!?

How can a mom not know her daughter is being abused?
    For 10 years!?
I would instinctively know if my kids were being abused.
Their behavior patterns is a clear sign something wrong.

  2. @Disgusted you have no idea what you’re taking about. You wouldn’t know if that was happening to your child, and the fact that your underhanded comment suggests that the mother should’ve known and is to blame some how is rude.

    1. This happened to my eldest grand daughter, we were clueless. We spent vacations, holidays, and she spent long weekends with us. Never had a clue until she was a teen. We were so shocked and sickend. We wondered over and over how we missed it. But every situation is different, if you haven’t been there don’t be so quick to Judge!

  3. Glad they found him and he is in jail where he belongs! I hope justice is served for these poor innocent victims

  4. I can’t believe it took this long for the court and then that long to sentence him to life after admitting to it years ago.

Best wishes to the two girls and his wife who life was also changed ttlc
