A Mt. Orab man has been arrested after allegedly shooting a firearm during a domestic incident on Monday morning, Feb. 12.
According to court records, Richard Allan Sherman Jr. was high on meth and allegedly threatened his girlfriend before firing a .45 caliber Glock 36 inside their home on Bethel-New Hope Road.
No one was harmed in the incident.
Sherman faces preliminary charges of felonious assault, improper discharging of firearm at/into a habitation, having weapons while under disability, and using weapons while intoxicated.
He pleaded not guilty in Brown County Municipal Court during an arraignment hearing Monday morning.
Bond has been set at $50,000 cash, surety or property. Sherman is expected in court next on Feb. 20.
