A Brown County man has been arrested after he allegedly called 911 and made false statements.
According to Corporal Eric Lang, on or about Sunday, Oct 18, Matthew Luithle, age 31, called 911 and told the dispatcher he had a gun to his brother’s head at his home on McCafferty Road in Perry Township, and he was about to kill him.
It was later determined Luithle was actually calling 911 due to a possible broken arm, Lang said.
Luithle was arrested and charged with first-degree misdemeanor inducing panic. He is currently being held at the Brown County Adult Detention Center on a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
