

Brown County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men involved in the assault of a man and woman.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to a residence at 15138 Crawford-Day Rd, Green Township, at approximately 12:40am Monday morning, Oct 26, on a report of a 32-year-old male with serious injuries from an assault.
The caller told 911 dispatchers the man was on the ground bleeding from the nose and mouth area, and may have had his ribs broken from being kicked repeatedly. He was transported to Mt. Orab Mercy Hospital with serious visible injuries.
A female was also transported to Mt. Orab Mercy with injuries from being struck in the face, but her condition was not considered serious.
Deputies learned Doug Watson, age 49, of Hamersville, Ohio, arrived at the residence with Todd Cook, age 40, of Mount Orab, and assaulted the man and woman.
Watson has been charged with two counts of second-degree felony assault and Cook has been charged with two counts of second-degree felony complicity to assault. The two have been lodged in the Brown County Adult Detention Center.
