A man is wanted and a juvenile is under arrest in connection with a violent armed robbery in Georgetown last month.
According to police, Jaeger Lee Seipelt, age 21, and a juvenile male, age 17, allegedly assaulted and robbed a man at gunpoint on Saturday evening, Oct. 14.
Seipelt is accused of pistol-whipping the victim with a .40 caliber Taurus 740 firearm during the robbery, police said.
Emergency services treated the victim on scene.
The victim received a wound to the head but was not seriously injured, according to witnesses.
Witnesses say the victim was able to overtake the juvenile suspect and detain the teen in his driveway until Georgetown police officers arrived. The juvenile suspect was arrested without further incident.
Neighbors of the victim say they gave chase to Seipelt, but could not catch up to him. He remains a fugitive and should be considered armed and dangerous.
A former resident of Georgetown, Seipelt was last known to live at 2859 Colerain Avenue in Cincinnati. Police describe Seipelt as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, 6 foot 2 inches tall, and weighs approximately 245 pounds.
Seipelt has been charged with first-degree felony aggravated robbery, with firearm specifications, and second-degree felony assault, with firearm specifications, following a Nov. 2 grand jury indictment.
